THE HUMAN THE CAT THE BEETLE was a student project created at the University of Brasilia (UnB) and was first premiered at the Cinefantasy International Fantastic Film Festival, which is Brazil's main festival for fantasy films. The film has also been shown at other film festivals such as the Festival Curta Campos do Jordão and NOIA, which is the most prominent University Film Festival in the country."
